GHB reacts in your body in 10 to 15 minutes and faster if alcohol is ingested…

The Pact. The social structure that allows the predators to hide in plain sight, to sit at the bar at the same table with everyone, take a target home, rape her, and stay in the same social circle because she can’t or won’t tell anyone, or because nobody does anything if she does. The pact to make excuses, to look for mitigation, to patch things over — to believe that what happens to our friends — what our friends do to our friends — is not …“rape-rape”. Change the culture.

Date Rape Drugs Demystified: The introduction of date rape drugs into mainstream culture has put a very powerful weapon in the hands of sexual predators. Rapes can be easily committed behind a foggy haze of intoxication often leaving the victim oblivious to the fact they have been assaulted. It is a frightening thought that begs the question: “What, if anything, can be done to stop a person from falling victim to a rape using a date rape drug?” http://www.indiaonrent.com/view/d/date-rape-drugs.html

If  anyone wakes up with no memory of the night before and has any reason to think there’s something seriously wrong, go to a hospital and have blood and urine samples tested for foreign substances. This could be valuable evidence down the road, but drugs quickly clear the body so it must be done within 24 hours. (Even saving your first urine of the day for later testing could help, but that won’t stand up in court if you can’t prove its yours.) http://blogs.vancouversun.com/2013/04/02/predators-online-and-at-the-party-stalk-vulnerable-women/

{November 13, 2013}   DANCING WITH DEATH

Since the death of my beloved daughter in 1999 from a predator secretly slipping a fatal dose of GHB in something she was drinking, GHB has become more prevalent in the world than less. http://www.lifepsych.com/linkssubabusearticle01ghb.htm In fact, besides being predators drug of choice, GHB is now hailed as having eclipsed the use of ecstasy. http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2013/02/27/2-investigators-date-rape-drug-becoming-favorite-for-recreational-use/ I am sure with all the work law enforcement keeps devoting to eradicating GHB from our streets, the supply of GHB to city streets is abundant. http://projectghb.org/ Our work is not complete.

But, I believe the real game changer to be awareness. http://pharmpsych.com/2013/10/12/dark-pharmacy-science-date-rape-drugs/ The more a person is informed about GHB, perhaps it will lead to choosing a different path. But, as long as the supply is unlimited, casualties will follow. Look at these mail options for purchasing GHB online. http://www.tradett.com/ghb-products/ If you know of someone who is either using GHB recreationally, or is vulnerable and a likely victim for a predator, please, give them a link to this site so they can read some of the stories that are posted here that tell the real story about the deadly and addictive GHB..

The very acceptance of women as equally contributing members of society, deserving of respect — and deserving not to be raped or to be forced into involuntary pregnancy — is under assault.

Moreover, this undeniably real War on Women is being fought on far more than just one front. They would deny us the right to control our own bodies, deny us economic opportunities, and take away all our rights of self-determination, based on the assertion that we simply do not deserve to be treated as equals. Why? Because they say we’re inherently inferior to the men who are supposed to rule over us. http://americablog.com/2013/10/battle-map-for-war-women-part1.html

The Male Perspective: What is new about date rape is that it marks an attempted shift in the definition of “rape.”

What is new about date rape is that it marks an attempted shift in the definition of “rape.” Previously, most people assumed rape was sexual intercourse forced on a woman who stated she was unwilling to participate. With date rape came the idea rape was what a man committed if he had sexual intercourse with a woman who did not explicitly agree to it. This is totally unfair to men. As Thomas [David Thomas wrote Not Guilty: In Defense of the Modern Man] (1993) puts it:

(T)here seems little way in which a boy can avoid being accused of rape. For boys are still expected to take girls out, pour a couple of drinks down them, plead everlasting love and then make a pass…. If you don’t at least try to seduce them, girls are apt to get offended (and start casting aspersions on your virility—PZ). And … there may never be a moment at which anyone actually asks, ‘May I?’ or gets the answer ‘Yes’.

Then there’s the old problem of women who say “no” and mean “yes”, http://ic.galegroup.com/ic/ovic/ViewpointsDetailsPage/DocumentToolsPortletWindow?displayGroupName=Viewpoints&jsid=6576137629c5b8743af757fa00df6322&action=2&catId=&documentId=GALE%7CEJ3010008230&userGroupName=stteresas&zid=c04c7a40e5c55a434e8bb5a5a06d8270

Remember you are the change you seek, It begins with you.

Try to imagine that in this 21st century [W]omen and girls are still discriminated against and treated as second-class citizens and individuals in many countries across the world. They often have no free choice in crucial decisions for their future lives, if, whom or when they marry, or when and with whom to have children.

In all too many cases they are ‘owned’ by their father, brother or husband, with no property or inheritance rights, and no opportunity for secondary schooling, or loans for investment in a productive activity for income and employment. Child marriage is still rampant, far into the 21st century. Every year an estimated 14 million girls are married before they are 18. DR. GRO HARLEM BRUNDTLAND  http://www.forbes.com/sites/skollworldforum/2013/05/29/it-is-time-to-stop-discrimination-against-girls-and-women/

Archaeological evidence indicates that as far back as the upper Paliolithic period, or 25,000 BC, there existed a Goddess Culture where women were revered and worshiped. There are many artifacts from this period of statutes of women associated with worship. While the Goddess’ ruled as wise priestess and prophet there was peace, prosperity and open celebration of sexuality and women as the “giver of life.” Also, throughout this period the society was matrilineal, only women held title to property. All property passed through them and their “name,” or linage. Although women ruled there was equality and cooperation between men and women. The last Goddess temple was closed 500 BC,

The Goddess Culture was destroyed by warring tribes from the Northern Steeps with hierarchical social orders. The Old Testament and the Koran speak of the killing of women and destruction of entire cities. This was the destruction of a world order, the Goddess Culture and the beginning of a new order. An order ruled by men, with a male deity, with men as priest, with title and name passing through men. It was a hierarchical system to which women became the property of men. http://www.mama.org/exhibits/ancient/goddess/

As far as I can determine, the end of the Goddess Culture, marked the end of equality for women. It would seem that by now, after a few millennial women might have regained their revered status, or at the very least, established equality, and would no longer be condemned as property, but. that is not so. But, woman and girls all over the planet still get drugged, assaulted, abused, left for dead, raped to death, and worse. Women have made strides in the west for equal rights under the law. But, there is still a long way to go to change the existing Culture of Rape and the predatory use of date rape drugs on unsuspecting girls and women.

It begins with every girl, woman and boy to be that change.,,and change the world….

{November 4, 2013}   Men Perpetrate A Culture of Rape

I find the following facts disturbing: 1) the word rape exist because it defines an unlawful act committed by men against unwilling women and girls; 2) woman who die from date rape and date rape drugs are 99 percent of the time killed by a man, or men; 3) a culture of rape exist because of medieval ideas about the relationship between men and women; 4) these ideas are perpetrated by men; 5) people who have historically defined what rape is and is not have predominately been men ttp://www.motherjones.com/mojo/2012/08/men-defining-rape-history; 6) predators of women and girls are predominately men; and 7) men don’t understand the word “no,” when spoken by a woman or girl  (http://www.womensweb.ca/violence/rape/surviving.php.)

It is a lopsided equation. So what is the answer? How do we change a gender related predatory predisposition? Why do some men have it and others do not? What is different in the non-predatory male environment? How do we change behavior of predators who will put a poisonous drug in an unsuspecting woman or girl’s drink? There has to be a shift in consciousness. How can this happen? I don’t know. Women have to want it to stop for all women across the planet just as passionately as they want breast cancer to end. There is some huge disconnect in the world that there even exist such a concept as a culture of rape. But take a look around, watch television, listen to music, read the internet…it’s there…it’s everywhere in the world.

Why doesn’t everyone agree to honor and respect each other no matter what the gender, or the race, or the religion, etc. We need a human chain of people holding hands stretching around the planet. Coming together in harmony. We need to synchronize around the planet and everyone meditate at the same time. It’s time to lift our consciousness. We need to be figuring out more about how we all benefit when we join together rather than when we fragment by hate crimes. Violence isolates. Kindness unifies. There is goodness in every human soul so when you read this do something especially nice for someone. It doesn’t matter who…it doesn’t have to be someone you know, just anyone…one act of kindness…Pass it on.
